Norma E. Groters Cole

of St. Petersburg, FL and formerly of Muskegon, MI, passed away Apr. 11, 2013 at the age of 81. Norma was born in Holland, MI on Apr. 23, 1931, the daughter of Edward and Louise “Harmke” Groters. She was the former Norma Van Dyke who married Ace Cole on July 3, 1973.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane Lewis of Largo, FL; two sons, Craig (Denise) Van Dyke of Edwardsville, IL and Bradley Van Dyke of Seminole, FL; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; two sisters, Ione Keur and Marlene Garza of Muskegon. She is also survived by a step-son, Allan “Cheri” Cole and step-daughter, Nancy Cole; 3 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren, all of Muskegon.

Norma enjoyed shopping, Bingo, and going to the casinos. She retired from American Coil Spring after 22 years of service. She was a member of Seminole United Methodist Church in Seminole, FL.

A memorial gathering will be held at Seminole United Methodist Church. Interment will take place in Laketon Township Cemetery in Muskegon at a later date. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated.
