Melinda Lynn K Hicks

HICKS, Melinda K. “Lynn”, 71, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 in St. Petersburg. She was born December 8, 1943 in Rome, New York, the daughter of Adelaide (Bacon) Pugh. She attended Rome High School in Rome, NY and, after moving to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1958, graduated from Grace Livingston Memorial High School in 1961. Lynn was an administrative assistant for Robert Drywall Co. with over 30 years of dedicated service, which she enjoyed until retiring in 2008. Her happiest moments were shared with her cats, children, and grandchildren, or an occasional lunch or dinner.

Survivors include a son, Jon McGhan; daughters, Kimberly (Craig) Simoni and Tracey Wyckoff; and grandchildren, Joshua and Selana.

A Celebration of Life held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A.
