Godspeed Aunt Carol!  We are thankful that your painful struggle is over and you can be at peace, but we will miss you!  You have left a wonderful legacy of family and love, hard work and accomplishments.  Sending love and light to your family left behind, love you Robin, Kenny, Jimmy, and Brian!

I will always remember Aunt Carol as a fun-loving relative, who took an interest in everyone in the family and had a contagious laugh. Her smile lit up the room and will forever be sketched in my mind.  Aunt Carol was truly an inspiration to all, with her strong faith in God and endless courage. She is reunited with her family in heaven now, and is no longer in pain or suffering.  I can see Aunt Carol enjoying a game of "Pitch" or "SCAT" with everyone and dancing the polka to Grandpa Sullivan's favorite song,"In Heaven There Is No Beer". I look forward to the day when we shall all be together again. God bless.

I wish I could go back to the time I saw her last, a couple days before she passed, I loved her, she loved me, and she was the best grandma there could ever be. Yes, she is in heaven now, she's not in pain, but my heart still went down the drain. But she's another guardian angel, yes I will miss her very, very much, but there is one thing I need to remember, we can still stay in touch. I will love her, and keep her in my heart for all my life and tears sometimes come to my eyes to  think how awesome she was to me, but what I need to remember is  that she had an amazing life and she still was and still is the most amazing grandma there could ever be.

I was privileged to know both Carol and Ken, through my work ( Ralph Schlosser of Senior Financial Services).  A vibrant couple, I remember them at the many parties, always smiling, laughing and sharing a kind word.  Carol took marvelous care of Ken to the end - her love and devotion was obvious. 

I also know Carol was very helpful and loyal to a mutual client from my job, before and even on his deathbed.   Carol would be there to deliver communion or an encouraging word.  She was a  loving, compassionate friend.  

In recent months, I had occasion to meet up with Carol and share a lunch.  The dignity and strength she displayed during her illness was impressive.   Although my last contact with her was on the phone, I could tell she mustered all her strength to sound cheerful - so typical of Carol.

She will be missed.  She taught me the value of loyalty and sincerity.   She was a great lady and an inspiration to me.
