93, of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away January 7, 2016 at home under the care of her loving family. She was born January 8, 1922 in Eckley, Colorado, the daughter of Thomas and Mabel (Downs) Whittenburg. Anita and her late husband, Elmer, moved to Florida in 1957 from Cincinnati, Ohio. She was an independent contractor, delivering papers for the St. Petersburg Times and Evening Independent.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Norman, brothers, Dale, Forrest, Wallace, and Floyd Whittenburg, and sisters, Norma Eastin and Delta Settle. Survivors include grandchildren, Adam L. Mullikin, Samuel A. Mullikin, Nichole L. Mullikin, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10:00am Saturday, Jan. 16th at the funeral home where funeral services will follow at 11:00am. Entombment will follow in Garden Sanctuary Cemetery.
