Albert F Buchweitz

83, of Seminole, Florida, passed away August 29, 2014 at Freedom Square Rehabilitation & Nursing Services in Seminole. He was born January 4, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Frederick and Virginia (Lowell) Buchweitz. Albert and his wife, Esther moved to Florida in 1992 from Long Grove, Illinois, where he was a volunteer paramedic for the Long Grove Fire Department. Albert owned and operated Associated Plastics Fabricators in Wheeling, Illinois for many years. He was an Army Veteran of Korea and a member of the American Legion. Albert and his wife were members of Northside Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Esther; a son, Albert F. Buchweitz, III, and his wife Stephanie; a daughter, Karen Lynn Darling, and her husband Alan; a brother, Charles; sisters, Betty Ruth Buchweitz, and Karen Nelson; grandchildren, Lauren Rae Buchweitz, Dana Ruth Buchweitz, Kaela Joy Buchweitz, Aubrey Ruth Buchweitz, Nathan Phillip Buchweitz, Derek J. Darling, and Emma Ruth Darling.

Albert will be laid to rest at Bay Pines National Cemetery in Bay Pines, Florida at a later date.
