Elidia G Sanchez

Elidia G Sanchez passed away surrounded by her family in Seguin, Texas on March 25th, 2013 at the age of 87. She was born in Mexico to Wenceslado and Gabriella Garza on May 3rd, 1925 but Elidia grew up and lived most of her life in Uvalde, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, needlepoint, cooking, dancing, traveling and spending time with her family. Later in life she moved with her family to Ohio for 15 years before returning to Uvalde.

Elidia is survived by her four daughters: Dora Saldivar (Andy Saldivar dec.), Alma Sanchez (Esiquel Sanchez) Kathy Talamantez (Dario Talamantez) all of Seguin and Diana Garza (Gene Garza) of Napoleon, Ohio. She is also survived by 2 brothers, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. Elidia was one of twelve children.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26th at Goetz Funeral Home from 3 to 9 pm with a Rosary recited at 7 pm. Visitation will continue Wednesday, March 27th at 8 am until service time at 2pm. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.

Severing as pallbearers bill be 4 grandsons: Dario Talamantez Jr., Robby Talamantez, Brian Sanchez, and Eric spears and 2 son-in-laws Dario Talamantez and Gene Garza.
