Doris Pfullmann Reimers

Doris Pfullmann Reimers, 79, passed away Saturday September 18, 2010. She spent her whole life in Seguin, graduating from Dowdy High School. Doris worked for over 25 years in the agriculture community for Seguin Cotton Oil Company and Guadalupe Grain. She was a very musical and artistic person all her life, and one of her passions was painting Texas scenery and wildflowers, Doris donated her artwork benefiting several local charities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Agnes Engelke Pfullmann, and brother Harold Pfullmann. Doris is survived by her husband, Roland Reimers of Seguin; son David Wiedner and wife Gwen of Groves; son Michael (Sam) Wiedner and wife Anita of Webster; son Mark Wiender and wife Linda of Seguin; brother James (Jimmy) Pfullmann and wife Rose Mary of Seguin; sister-in-law Sylvia Pfullmann of Seguin; and a loving and large family including step-children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and step grandchildren.

Visitation will be held in the chapel at Goetz Funeral Home from 5-9 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 21st. The funeral service will be held at Emanuel's Lutheran Church at 10 am on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd. Following the graveside service at San Geronimo Cemetery, everyone is invited for a time of fellowship with the family back at Emanuel's Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Texas Agriculture Education and Heritage Center or Emanuel's Lutheran Church. A special thanks to the caregivers that took extra time and care with this wonderful lady.
