Frank A. Corso of Sicily, Italy. He grew up on Zabriskie Street and Summit Avenue in Jersey City
and spent his summers visiting his Mother’s family in Canada. Trevor had many fond memories
of his time spent with his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins, both in Jersey City and
Canada. He was a graduate of Dickinson High School, earned his Bachelor’s Degree from
Rutgers University and a Master’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson. Trevor worked as a
computer systems analyst for 10 years before returning to school to earn his law degree from
Fordham Law School in 1976. He had a successful law practice in Secaucus, specializing in
personal injury, real estate and general law. He cared deeply for his clients and was loved and
respected by his clients and the law community.
Trevor met the love of his life, Naomi Notbohm Corso as children at Trinity Church in Jersey
City. They married on July 21, 1962 and spent many happy years together until Naomi’s passing
in 2010. Trevor and Naomi had two daughters, Karyn and Cheryl, who they raised in Secaucus.
Trevor adored his family. He was incredibly close to both his daughters and sons- in- law
Andrew and Brian. Although, more than anything, he loved being a Grandfather. Trevor had four
grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, Alyson and Matthew, who were his pride and joy. His favorite
times were taking his family out to dinner, to Broadway shows, Mets games and vacations.
Trevor also had a special relationship with his younger brother Frank, who predeceased him by
a few months. He was also very close to his in- laws, Theresa and Wilbur Notbohm and saw his
sisters- in law, Teresa Notbhom Santos and Lois Notbohn Blumenschine, as his own siblings.
Trevor had an unmatchable sense of humor and loved to argue about debatable topics. He was
a chess master and loved opera and broadway, reading, traveling, and a cold beer on a hot day.
Trevor had subscriptions to the NJ Symphony and New York Philharmonic. His spirit, love and
laugh will be missed by so many.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to St. Matthews Lutheran Church in his Honor.
