You always think you’ll have more time - more time to tell someone you love them, or to thank them, or to simply talk about the small things, like a tv show or how their day was.  We just didn’t get enough time, so I’ll tell you all the things you already know.  Sandi, you’ve been apart of my life as long as I know Rob. You’ve been a friend, a parent, a grandparent, but so much more. I’m so grateful for the time we spent over the quarantined months — the meals shared, the laughs had, and all the memories made.  I’m even more grateful for these last two years. We had so many wonderful times together; you were here for every one of Rylie’s milestones and Cade’s grand entrance during the pandemic.  So I’m not angry or mad, I’m just incredibly sad that we don’t get to make more memories like that.  I’m grieving all the moments, big or small that we won’t get to share together as a family.  But you’ll forever be apart of every single one of us, so you’ll be here - just in a different way.

There’s just one last memory I’d like to share - the last day we saw you, the very last words we spoke to each other were “I’ll see you soon, love you.”  I feel so lucky that those are the last words we spoke to one another.  So I’ll say them again .. I’ll see you soon and I love you, Sand. 🤍

The first time we met Sandi was here in Florida with Bob.  We had a delightful dinner.  Sandi possessed a beautiful radiant smile which was so welcoming and kind.  She naturally exuded a caring demeanor, so sincere equally welcoming.   This was a memory my wife and I will never forget.   Although distance separated our paths, Sandi being such a great family person would often comment on FB on our birthdays, our family or our kids.  So kind and sweet to always send a positive and nurturing thought our way.  Sandi, my wife Dawn and I feel the pain of your loss.  Sandi, rest in peace our friend.  We remain certain you will light up the heavens with your nurturing and caring character as you did here on Earth.  Look over your beautiful family as a guardian angel.   

Before I was even a teenager, my beautiful Niece, Sandi Sue, came into my life.  My first babysitting job could not have been easier.  Always happy, smiling and laughing at anything and everything.  She remained as upbeat and positive throughout her life and always brought joy to all she met.  Her radiant smile and personality will shine on in my memory always.  I am so sad to see you leave this life way too soon.
