Robert Anthony Acerra

He was born in Jersey City and was a former resident of Hoboken before moving to Secaucus 42 years ago.

Robert was the manager of transportation for Recall Inc. in Secaucus for 15 years before retiring in 2017.

He was a Secaucus Little League coach for 30 years and coached basketball and football for the Secaucus Recreation Department for 10 years.

He was predeceased by his father Emilio and his brother John.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Elizabeth (Betty) Acerra; his mother Maria Acerra; his 2 sons Jason and his wife Colleen Acerra; Robert J. Acerra; his brother Tony and his wife Eleonora Acerra; his grandchildren Jason, Madison and Tyler;

Visitation will be held on Sunday March 31, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at the Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Rd. Secaucus. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:45 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus. Cremation will be private;
