Richard P. Pero

Born in Jersey City, NJ to Mary (nee Scalzo) and Peter Pero, he would go on to serve his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Richard was a lifelong resident of Secaucus. He volunteered in town youth programs, including over 20 years in the Secaucus Little League.

Beloved husband of Eileen Pero; loving father of Richard P. Pero, Jr. and his wife Kristen, and Michael Pero and his wife Karen; cherished grandfather of Alexis, Aidan, Victoria, and Zoe Pero, and Thomas Warth and his wife Heather; adoring great grandfather of Adley, and Brooks Warth; and dear brother of the late Patty DeFerrari and her husband Joe. Richard also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, close family members, and good friends.

A visitation for Richard will be held Monday, November 21 from 4 to 8PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22 at 10:30AM at Mack Memorial Home. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
