Mary E. Rubino

Born in Jersey City, NJ to Antoinette and Ralph LaGuardia.

Mary was predeceased in death by her brothers Dominic and Frank LaGuardia, and her sisters Diane Rosato and Norma Perkowski. She is survived by her loving son Paul Rubino and his fiancée Kerry, and many loving nieces, nephews, close family members, and friends.

Mary’s favorite activity in life was hosting a party for her family and friends. She loved surrounding herself with the people she cherished. All were welcome in her home and in her heart. Her enjoyment came from watching those she loved enjoying themselves all while she assumed the role of hostess.

She was the Matriarch of the family despite being the youngest of 5 siblings.

People traveled far and wide to be in her presence. She always had kind words to speak about others. Her smile was contagious. Her advice overflowed with logic, compassion, and wisdom. She was there for everyone before they even knew she was needed.

She made an everlasting impact on others that will last a lifetime. She will be greatly missed by all.

A funeral mass for Mary will be held Friday, April 8 at 10:45 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 1219 Paterson Plank Rd., Secaucus, NJ. Burial to follow at Flower Hill Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ.
