Jose L. Montanez 56, of Secaucus, NJ, formerly of Hoboken, NJ entered into rest on Friday December 2, 2011. Beloved husband of Devora D. Montanez. Loving son of Maria Garcia and the late Rafael Montanez. Devoted father of Jose Jr., Yahira, Jeduanny and Jenaro. Step son of Pablo Garcia. Dear brother of Miriam Montanez, Oscar Montanez and the late Jenaro Hernandez. Jose was a Police Captain for the Hudson County Corrections. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Tuesday at 9 AM for a 10 Am Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
