Frank Walter Jones

Frank W. Jones, 84, of Apex, North Carolina, formerly of Secaucus, New Jersey went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 29, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Arlene (nee Fischer) Jones and the devoted father of Russell and his wife Lin, Carole Magee and her husband Scott and Ellen Jones. Frank was also the loving grandfather of Christopher, Jayne, Kristina, Russell, Kate, Jennifer, Jack, Grace, Meghan and William, and dear great- grandfather of Amanda and Daniel.

Mr. Jones served in the National Guard. He graduated from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City in 1952. He attended Fordham Law School and received his Juris Doctor in 1955. Mr. Jones was an attorney in Jersey City and Secaucus before retiring in 1991. During this time he also served as the Prosecutor and Public Defender for the Town of Secaucus. Frank was also an active member of the Immaculate Conception Church Holy Name Society as well as an Usher for many years. He was an assistant scoutmaster for Immaculate Conception's Troop 47 where he also became an Eagle Scout.

Visitation will be held on Monday July 6, 2015 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Tuesday at 8:30 AM for a 9:15 AM funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, NJ.
