Ellen C. Schmitt (nee Conroy) 87, of Secaucus, NJ, formerly of North Bergen, NJ entered into rest on Monday April 11, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Frederick L. Schmitt. Devoted mother of Patricia Jasiczek and her husband Stan, Raymond Schmitt, Barbara Schmitt , Jackie Schmitt-Biamonte and the late Freddie Schmitt. Loving grandmother of Steven & Sarah Jasiczek and Janelle & Nicholas Biamonte. Dear sister of Margaret Modarelli & Vincent “Buddy” Conroy. Ellen is also pre-deceased by her parents Vincent & Mary (nee Powers) Conroy. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives & friends on Thursday at 8:15 AM for a 9:00 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of Flowers, donations in memory of Ellen may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
