Born in Secaucus, NJ, Eleanor was the beloved daughter of Gertrude and John Fisher.
Eleanor had varied careers, from a proofreader for a printing company, to a Supervisor in the Stock Transfer Department of First Jersey Bank, to opening her own dress shop, “Ellie’s Fashions”, but her true love was her family and grandchildren, spending weeks in Florida with them and taking care of the Jersey City duo. Though Frank Sinatra was right up there too, as she rushed the stage when she was young, and once again when she was a middle aged woman!
She was predeceased by her devoted husband Theodore Kokocinski, and her dear sisters Anne, Florie, Irene, Mary, Joan, and Carol. She is survived by her loving children Richard Kokocinski, and Lorraine Lillis and her late husband Bob; adoring grandchildren Janet Gardener and her husband Jason, Samantha Kokocinski and Rikki Kokocinski, Kelly Ann Lillis and her husband Joe Trembley, and Ryan Lillis; and cherished great grandchildren Aliera, Angelina, Ben, Colton, and Zion.
A funeral Mass celebrating Eleanor’s life and faith will be held on Monday, March 6 at 10:45AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus, NJ.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Eleanor’s name to Immaculate Conception Church 1219 Paterson Plank Rd., Secaucus, NJ 07094.
