Edward W. Kane

Edward W. Kane, 90, of Secaucus, NJ entered into rest on Monday February 4, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine Kane. Devoted father of Kathy Kuchar and her husband Alex, Richard Kane and his wife Lori Ann and Karen Sargent and her husband Thomas. Loving grandfather of Christine Padilla and her husband Thomas. Thomas Sargent Jr., Kane Alexis Pelrine and her husband Richard, Erik Sargent, Alex Kuchar, Richard Kane Jr., Kevin Kuchar, Kendra Kane, Kaitlin Kuchar, Kelsey Sargent, Patrick Kane and Kendall Sargent. Great grandfather of Briana, Thomas, Isabel and Zoe. Brother of the late Robert Kane and Vera Hill. Brother-in-law of Joyce and William Horan and Charles and Ellen Pilger. Edward served his country proudly in the United States Navy as a SeaBee during WWII where he was involved in the Invasions of Sicily, D-Day at Normandy Beach, Italy and the Africa. Edward was a Quality Controller for Continental Can and American Can. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Friday at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM funeral service at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Secaucus, Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
