Edward R. Dunning

Edward R. Dunning, age 89, of Secaucus, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Edward was born in Bayonne to the late James and Daisy (Curtis) Dunning and was raised in Union City and has lived in Secaucus the past 60 years. He was a Custodian at Huber Street School here in Secaucus for 23 years before retiring in 2011, a Veteran of the United States Army, a past President of Secaucus Unico, CYO, Teamsters Local Union 560, and a lifelong member of the NJ PTA.

Edward was the loving husband of the late Marie C. (Olfern) Dunning; Cherished father of Edward J. Dunning and his wife Lorraine; Devoted grandfather of Connor & Emily Dunning; Dearest brother of the late Evelyn Iacovelli, Ruth Dunning, Anna Schwenk, James Dunning, and Herbert Dunning; and loved by many extended family members and friends.

A visitation for Edward will be held Monday, December 16th from 4 to 8PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, December 17th at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 1219 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ followed by his entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031.

Ed was loved by everyone who knew him, especially his family, many friends, and his Huber Street Bears
