Born in Shanagolden, Ireland to Ellen and James O’Connor.
Christopher owned and operated his own trucking company, and then went on to become a transportation supervisor with Caldor. He was a proud Irishman who loved playing the accordion, visiting his home country of Ireland, tending to his garden and spending time with his beloved family.
Christopher was predeceased by his 12 siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Johanna O’Connor (nee Riordan); his loving daughter Shivaun and her husband Greg; and adoring grandchildren Sara and Aidan Biddle. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, close family members, and dear friends.
A visitation for Christopher will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10:45 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, NJ. Cremation will be private.
