ANNA MARIE IACONO WHITING Anna Marie Iacono (nee: Do-nofrio), 75, of Whiting, passed away on Thursday, 5/17/13. She was born in Passiac and lived for many years in Weehaw-ken before moving to Whiting several years ago. Anna Marie was the pay role controller for the Weehawken Board of Educa-tion for many years before retir-ing and served as president of the ladies Guild of the Weehaw-ken Elks Club. Anna Marie was the beloved wife of former Weehawken Mayor Stanley Iacono. She was the devoted mother of Guy Iacono, Antoinette Visaggio and husband Peter and Anthony Iacono and fiancee Valarie English. She was the dear sister of Dominick Donofrio and the late Carmela Bello as well as the loving grandmother of Michael and Maria Visaggio, Paul, Guy Jude, Joiana, Anthony Jr. and Nikalena Iacono. The funeral will be on Tuesday, 5/21/13 at 9:30AM from the Leber Funeral Home in Union City then to St. Lawrence Church in Weehawken where at 10:30AM a mass will be offered. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 9PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The American Lung Association
