Born in Brooklyn, NY to Rose and Thomas Catalano, he would go on to serve his country proudly in the US Army during the Korean War.
Beloved father of Lisa Catalano, Lynda Kearney and her husband Stephen, Lauren Catalano, and Christine Catalano-Shave and her husband Chris; loving grandfather of Roy, Nick, Gianna, and Jillian; and dear brother of the late Josephine Riggio, and the late Richard Catalano.
A memorial gathering for Alfred will be held Friday, May 10 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. Military Honors and inurnment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery & Mausoleum, Mahwah, NJ.
