Yvonne Marie Smith neé Pomaville, 69, of Seattle, Washington, passed away December 14, 2011. She was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan on January 19, 1942.
Yvonne graduated from Grosse Point Senior High School, received her Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University, and her Master of Social Work from Ohio State University.
She was married to Warren Hall Palmer from 1965 to 1977, and to Charles Edward Smith from 1980 to 2004.
Yvonne had a career in Social Work, with a focus on children’s services. She was an animal lover, especially dogs, and donated to several animal charities.
She is survived by her son Brian Palmer and her sister Jean Bain.
