Willie worked for many years as the head chef at The Bon Marche in Northgate.
He is survived by his step-children; William Powell, and Marjorie Carstarphen; step-grandsons, Andre Lamont Chatman, and Charles Andre Powell; his nieces, Sabrina and Sheila Daniels; nephew Charles Daniels; Willie's brother in law's; Thurston Muskelly (Joyce), Rev. James Odom (Betty), Robert Williams (Ethel), Ronald Williams, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Willie is preceded in death by his only sister, Inez Henderson, and his son Willie G. Henderson, Jr.
All funeral services will be held at Evergreen-Washelli on Saturday, February 17, 2018; visiting hours from 9-11am, the funeral service will begin at 11am, a graveside committal will follow.
