William "Ben" Kirkham

after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Ben was born September 25, 1938 in Bethpage, Tennessee. Ben graduated from Gallatin High School in 1956 and was a proud member of the US Navy for 4 years.

On January 7th, 1961 Ben married Delores J. Spence and they were married for 58 years.

They raised 3 children together, Steve, DeAnna and Jennifer.

After the Navy, Ben pursued a career in engineering and business. He worked at Boeing and Tally in Seattle. He then made the decision to enter the world of business and Ben and Delores enjoyed a 27 year career with The Tupperware Corporation. Before retiring from the Tupperware Corporation, they were Distributors and Business owners of Ben Del Enterprises which was the Northwest Washington Distribution Center, Warehouse and Sales Training Facility for the Tupperware Corporation. Ben was and Delores is still active as board members and Treasurer of the Tupperware Alumni Association.

Retirement didn't keep Ben still for long as he immediately pursued an interest in Real Estate and later opened a travel franchise of Uniglobe Travel, Inc. Ben enjoyed fishing, golf, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Ben is survived by his wife, Delores S Kirkham, his children, Steve Spence (Karen). DeAnna Brock (Rocky) and Jennifer L Kirkham, 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and his brother Harry Leon Kirkham Jr (Joann).

Ben was predeceased by his parents Harry Leon Kirkham Sr. and Bertha L Kirkham, his sister Joan Kirkham Sherron (Robert) and infant sister Patsy Kirkham.

A memorial service for Ben will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Highline Christian Church, 14859 1st Ave S, Burien, WA 98168. A visitation will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Yarington's/White Center Funeral Home, 10708 16th Ave Sw, Seattle, WA 98146. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Riverton Crest Cemetery, 3400 S 140th St, Tukwila, WA 98168. A burial will occur at Riverton Crest Cemetery, 3400 South 140th Street, Tukwila, Washington 98168.
