William Lee Hogan (Bill), age 88 of Normandy Park, WA, was called to heaven to join his wife Jan on August 14, 2022, surrounded by his beloved family. He was born January 22, 1934, in Jamestown, North Dakota. He was preceded in death by his wife Jan, parents Cecil and Eva Hogan, sisters Constance and Betty. Bill was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. He deeply loved and cared about everyone in his life. Bill is survived by his daughter Jackie and her husband Dayton Maltby, daughter Machelle and her husband Joe Antush, grandsons Karl and Ben Antush whom he adored, his brothers Michael, Dennis and Bob, sisters Jean and Barbara, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bill was in the U.S. Navy from 1952 – 1960. He married Jan in 1959 and moved to Seattle in 1961 to work at Boeing and raise their family. He was a kind, caring, humble man who had a smile and a story to share with everyone he met. Some of his favorite things in life were being with friends and family, going to every one of his grandsons’ games and school events. He loved reading, watching old movies, BBQs, holidays, road trips, and his weekly phone calls with friends.
Bill will be missed by everyone, but we find comfort in knowing he is sitting at a table, enjoying a cup of coffee with his wife Jan, catching up on the last 19 years.
