William (Bill) C. Foster was born in Spartanburg South Carolina in 1931. He enlisted in the US Army at the age of 17 and served his country for more than 20 years traveling throughout Europe and many other places until his final post at the Fort Lewis Base in Washington. Bill later settled in Seattle Washington and continued his civilian career. He also co-founded the 23rd and Cherry Fellowship Hall in the early 1980’s which goes on to this day as non-profit organization. His vision and dedication helped thousands of people and spanned generations. He died peacefully at the age 90 near Seattle, WA.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother Bernice Foster, siblings Jessie M. Foster and Mable R. Thomas and is survived by sister Melba F. Blakely as well as a host of loving nephews, nieces and cousins.
A graveside service for William will be held at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, Seattle.
