Tong Ball Jung passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024 at the age of 96. He was the most kind and generous person you could ever meet, but most importantly, a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and uncle. Many knew him as Chuck, who openly shared his heart and thoughtfulness with family and friends, by preparing delectable cuisines that filled every gathering, big or small, with joy and happiness.
Tong is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jeffrey; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Jeesoo; and grandchildren Olivia (21), Juliet (19), Hannah (19) and Joshua (17).
Tong’s memorial service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:30am in the Arthur A Wright Chapel, Butterworth Funeral Home located at 520 W. Raye St., Seattle, WA 98119.
