Dad There are no words to describe what it ment to me to have you in my life, my big teddybear.  I did not get nearly enough time with you, but I am more then greatful for the time I had.  I will miss you every day, when I look in the mirror and see your eyes thru my eyes.  I know you are in a better place and are looking down on all of us. Well My dear Tom,I dont know what to say. It feels like my other half of me inside is gone. you are the best thing that's ever been in my life. I loved you from the start always have ,always will. your love is from my head to my toes. I hope your looking down on us and helping us. I don't think anybody  ever hated you or does hate you. you would open your heart to everybody or anybody. at some point i will join you and then be whole again. I love you Tommy. I met Tom when I first hired in at CSX in 2001. From that first day on the job, Tom took me under his "Big" Angel Wings and taught me and guided me in my early years at CSX. Even though I only knew Tom for 10yrs It felt that we knew each other for a lifetime. Tom was always there when you needed him. Tom was a great educated of younger employees and did his job with sincere ethushaism. I'm sure Tom has an office set up in heaven with his "Whitaker University" sign hanging up on a wall, and teaching other's on how to be a "Good Person". Tom will always be in my heart and I know I'm a better person because of my relationship with him. 
  Our heart felt condolences to Angie and the family. Tom will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Tom on Conrail in Toledo Ohio.  He was a big man and I know why.. He had to be big, to house that heart of his.  His heart was so huge, he was a very kind and caring man.  I love that man and hope I can hold a candle to his example.  God Bless you Tom and thank you for being a part of my life.

You came into my life 35 years ago and then you left- you always treated us like we were your own kids. Thank you for everything you did for us. I remember always telling Jeannie how much of a great guy you were and thanks for proving me right. I am glad that you came back into my life again when Jeannie found you. Tom was a great guy to work with even though only new him for a short 7yrs, he is greatly missed at stanley yard. my prayers and thoughts are with you.

well what can i sayyy.  it seemed like that you were getting  better. but you were staying strong for us. You were  always there for grandma  and whoever needed your care. You would give a stranger money or the clothes off your baack. You were sharing and loving. You would love anybody as long as they loved you too.  Me and you had our fights but we had plenty more billion time more good times. You somehow always  snuck me my hot cheetos or either, gave me my way.  I always had a laugh when u were in the room by your  corny jokes or simply by somthing you would do. I can honestly say i hope i can live as positive as you lived . And all throughout my life i will carry one thing  in my heart, the love that you gave me , From the begining to the End. I will carry your kindness and hopefully be able to share that too .
