Thomas Joseph Francis ROLLINS Died peacefully in his home in Bothell, Washington on October 2, 2006. Born in Waterloo, Iowa, July 10, 1915. He attended Loyola University in Los Angeles where he met and married his wife, LaVerne. Tom was an engineer for various concerns, contributing to our space program and the fledgling quality control and computer industries in the 1960s. He went on to become one of LAPD's top forensic investigators. Helpful to any he met throughout his life, he quietly sought for all to know and love God. Tom had a deep affection for Yosemite National Park and instilled this love in his children and grandchildren. He served many years as a Boy Scout Master, San Gabriel Valley Southern California Chapter, Troop 448. He is survived by LaVerne, his wife of 65 years, by 8 of his 11 children and numerous grandchildren who will all miss him profoundly. Funeral is Saturday, October 7th, 10:00 a.m., at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 10051 NE 195th St., Bothell WA 98011. In lieu of flowers Tom requested that an offering be made to Project Rachel, PO Box 398, Kent WA 98035.
