Thomas Tom Leonard Holman

Left us to be with our Lord on May 13, 2011. Born in Reform, Mississippi on January 24, 1915 to Lester and Lina Holman. Married to Mavis B. Holman for 61 years until her death in 2003. Survived by their daughter Carol and son-in-law Bob, 5 sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and 32 nieces and nephews.

Tom retired from the Department of Defense in 1977 after 33 years of civil service. Throughout his life, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working in his church and gardening.

Tom lived at Bayview Manor Retirement Community for the last 15 years of his life. There he developed many close friendships with residents and staff who brought him much joy and happiness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 24th at Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE in Seattle. A memorial celebration for Tom is scheduled for 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 7th at Bayview Manor Retirement Community, 11 West Aloha Street in Seattle.
