Tanzy Juanita Glover

Tanzy was born on August 16th, 1938 in Richland, Louisiana to Lauretha Talley and John Tanzy.

She leaves behind four brothers (Ameen, David, Robert, and Jerome) and three sisters (Susie, Evelyn, and Laura) A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and grand nephews. She is survived by her four daughters Yvette, Marquitta (Ron) Kelly, Tanis, and Deborah. As well as her grandchildren Anthony, John (Kia) Corry, Cody (Alyssa/Roc) Tanzy (Anthony) Kimberly, Jonah (Liana) Josiah, Jeremy, Juston, Tanisa, Chayenne, and Stephan. She also leaves behind 41 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Our angel above has memories that are stored in our hearts for days to come. Let your soul fill with joy, and you find comfort in the meaningful moments we shared. Known for her iconic dance moves, she was known to duet with Michael Jackson often, send cards to loved ones with her signature dollar bill taped inside, always a fashionista she was never without her treasure chest of jewelry and pin decorated hats, her love for Western movies, and most of all, her loving touch and and words of wisdom. She was loved beyond measure, by all she encountered. Let us keep the legacy of the Queen alive, with celebrating her life daily.

A funeral service for Tanzy will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, Washington 98133. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Abbey View Memorial Park, 3601 Alaska Road, Brier, WA 98036.
