I shall always remember Tamara’s enthusiasm, kindness, and can- do attitude. Her body has gone, but her body of work and character lives and grows in the many lives she has made better and their hearts and minds.

Tamara is an Angel. Her time in the vehicle of human form  exemplified competency, kindness, care.
A former client, I once remarked after a meeting, that she is (as unto) an Angel. She chuckled “that unique smile”, and replied she’d been called that before, ( I believe by her father).
I’m ever grateful and fortunate to have met Tamara, so easy to love.

Tamara ~ I miss your smiling face and our quietly shared dreams of that one stop  meditation and dispute resolution center, that open eye for the perfect spot for one more restaurant and the knowing nod of growing up is a culturally similar background and family.  Through it all... you wore a smile.  Enjoy your wings my friend. Until we meet again. 

We have lost a shining star.  Tamara was a class act in every way.  A formidable attorney and a great heart. She will be missed.  

Dear friends,
On the behalf of Tamara's sons Joseph and George, and all our families, we wish to thank you for your prayers, condolences,  and support during our time of great sorrow.  Losing our beloved Tammy was utterly devastating.   She had fought a hard and courageous battle against cancer for 7 years, and never lost hope.  Her great heart, generous spirit, and zest for life sustained her to the end.   She always believed she still had so much to do, so much to live for.  But when God called her home on July 12th, she was at peace.  She was surrounded by her loved ones when she passed 

Due to state mandated Covid-19 strict 
 health rules by our Governor, we regret that attendance for July 30th funeral mass at St Mark Catholic Church and burial at Holyrood will be very limited to family and close friends .   And we regret that we cannot host a wake at this time.   A Celebration of Life gathering will be hosted by the Chin family at a later date - TBA.

We know that Tammy's legion of friends and colleagues will be disappointed for not being able to attend in person.    The funeral mass on July 30 at 1pm will be LIVE STREAMED on St Mark Catholic Church Shoreline Facebook page. 

JULY 29th  10AM to 4 PM - viewing at Evergreen Washelli funeral home in Seattle.    All welcome (again, Covid-19 rule will be observed ), so we ask in advance for your patience and understanding.

Sending out condolences to the entire Chin family. Tammy was such a sweet and loving gal. I knew her and all the Chin's growing up at Immaculate Conception school. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. Rest in peace sweet girl.

Tamara you will be missed 


Tamara was a bright star in the courtroom - kind, intelligent and compassionate.  She never changed even when life threw her curve balls - from her time at Immaculate Conception  grade school to high school and onto her profession.  Her bright smile will be missed around the courthouse.   To the Chin family - the Wilson's are thinking of you and praying for comfort to you all.

My deepest condolences to the Chin family.   I know Tamara’s memory will be a blessing to you over the years. She will be missed. 

Tamara was a great friend and a worthy opponent when she practiced law at the Snohomish county prosecuting attorney's office. I always enjoyed working with Tamara on a case.  She practiced law with great skill and integrity.  Her smile was infectious and she was always kind.  I am holding a rosary she gave me for my confirmation in 1996.  The wood has faded over the years but my memories of her have not. Rest in peace Tamara.
