SUSAN J. OSBORNE, passed away unexpectedly--however, peacefully--February 13, 2003 at her home of 23 years in Lake Forest Park. She was born May 24, 1952, the daughter of Herman and Jean Homer. Susan is survived by two precious daughters, Olivia J. and Katherine J. Osborne: parents Herman and Jean Homer; sister Sally Jordan; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; many friends; her loving companion Toby and husband Jerry. Susan excelled at many endeavors. She was a certified Dental Assistant, real estate agent top 10 in ?79 for J.L. Scott, worked in marketing for Windermere Real Estate, and was a ?Pace Setter? for Nordstrom?s. Susan and Jerry worked together for several years. Her support, encouragement, hard work and people skills were the reason they were successful. Jerry was never happier than when she worked by his side. She enjoyed working with her hands, designing and making beautiful jewelry and greeting cards, all crafted with love. Her greatest achievement was giving the world Olivia and Katherine. She loved and nurtured them, they were best friends and enjoyed life together, and they were her everything. Susan accomplished so much despite being in chronic pain for much of her life. She was a proud woman that downplayed her suffering and endeavored to take care of and love others. Recently things were getting better and she was dealing with the challenges of life with renewed determination and zest. Her guiding angel saw to it that, prior to beckoning her home, she was in contact with many friends and had taken care of things that would have burdened others. She was a remarkable woman that was taken home too soon. She passed peacefully and will suffer no more. Susan, Mom, we love you and you will always be in our hearts. Visitation will be Friday, February 21, from 10am-8pm at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 22, 2003 at 2pm and will be conducted at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Chapel, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle.
