Shirley L. Trulson

Shirley died on August 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. She was born in Tacoma, Washington to Bertha and Thomas Peters. She also had one brother, Edward Peters.

At age 5, she moved with her parents and brother to Seattle, Washington. She attended Holy Family Grade School and won a scholarship to Forest Ridge Convent for upper school. A memorial service will be held at Yarington’s Funeral Home on August 10, 2017 at 12:30 p.m.

Shirley will be sorely missed by her children, Lars Trulson and Sharon Prendergast. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Melissa Sabin, Lars and Michaela Trulson as well as Preston and Raymond Prendergast and McKenzie Rubideaux. She also left 6 ½ grandchildren; yes, another on the way.

Shirley lived the end of her life at Sound View Family Home located in Federal Way, Washington, which was ran by Sorena and John Bucar. She wanted it to be known that they took “wonderful care of me.”

She spent many years, including the last, as a very happy, content and generous woman who was loved by many.
