Shirley Howell, also lovingly known as Gawpoe by her family, was not only a loving wife, mother, grandmother, but she was also a great friend and wonderful listener who always put others before her. Shirley went home peacefully to be with the Heavenly Father, while surrounded by loved ones, on February 3, 2015. She is predeceased in death by her loving husband Erol Howell, father Sigvald Olson, mother Dina Olson and sister Marilyn Bill. Shirley is survived by her three loving daughters, Cynthia, Colleen and Nancy and their husbands, and six grandchildren. Shirley was always the picture of grace and elegance. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was sharp as a whip even at the end. Her family will treasure the time spent with her and all their wonderful memories of her.
The family is having a small private ceremony on February 9th. Please join us on February 21st, at 1pm at St. Timothy Lutheran Church for a celebration of her life.
