Samuel Walker Van Dyne Podany of Bothell, WA, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017. He was born October 27, 1995 in Kirkland, WA. Samuel was baptized Catholic. He attended St. Brendan, Maywood Hills, Canyon Park Jr High and Bothell High School graduating from Secondary Academy for Success. Sam continued his education studying the electrical trade with Job Corp. He worked at Midas in Bothell and enjoyed many things such as motorcycles, 4X4's, skiing, fishing, baseball and photography. He was an avid sports enthusiast and artist.
Samuel is survived by his parents; Glenn & Katherine (Powers) Podany, three sisters; Anna, Kate and Jozy, a brother; Rudy and by his grandparents; Theresia Podany and D.J. and Gretchen Powers. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rudolf Podany.
A Viewing will be held at Lifetime Celebrations by Washelli (Bothell Funeral Home), 18224 103rd Ave NE, Bothell on Thursday, June 8th starting at 4:30pm, followed by a Vigil at 6:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Brendan Catholic Church located at 10100 NE 192rd Street, Bothell on Friday, June 9th at 11:00am with a reception to follow
