Rose was born on November 23, 1949 in Catonsville, Maryland, the daughter of Edward Joseph Brady and Sarah Catherine Brady. The youngest of eight siblings, she was raised in Maryland and attended Catholic school. Following school, Rose worked as a legal secretary. She moved to Seattle, Washington in 1986, where she raised her daughter Emily with her first husband, Scott.
Throughout her life, Rose was passionate about the outdoors, spending time hiking, camping, fishing, biking, and skiing. When she moved out West, Rose was awestruck by the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and Cascades. Rose was very athletic, as she grew up playing softball and baseball with her siblings, and she loved playing tennis as an adult.
Survivors include her daughter, Emily Brady Hallquist of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and her husband, Doug Worthington, of Clyde Hill, Washington.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Evergreen Washelli, located at 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA, 98133.
