Age 84, born August 19, 1917 in Seattle, WA. Passed away February 26, 2002 in shoreline, WA. Rodney worked for the Boeing Company for 39 years and built homes for seven years. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years Alice Swanson; daughters Judy Lloyd is deceased Smith and Kay John Oas; son Ernie Lynnel Swanson; grandchildren Jeff and Val Smith, Rebecca Smith, Todd and Gail Smith, Jason Oas, Andrea Oas, Erik Swanson and Neil Swanson; great granchildren Taylor, Caleb, Alicia, Micheal, Adam and Rosalyn. Rodney is preceded in death by his brother David Swanson and sister Ruth Nordberg. Memorial service will be Saturday, March 2, 2002 2:00pm at Shoreline Community Church 125 NE 185th Shoreline, WA.
