Beloved daughter of Ruth Ellen (Garrison) and Robert Edwin Reed, Rochelle grew up with her family in West Seattle, where she graduated from West Seattle High School. Going on to work at Northwest Center Industries for the next 25 years, she gave wholeheartedly of her love and talents, all the while caring for and looking out for those she worked alongside.
After retiring, Rochelle generously donated her time in volunteering at Lighthouse for the Blind in Seattle, and by being a devoted caretaker of the various pets in the households where she lived.
A lifelong member of Tibbetts United Methodist Church, she derived enormous joy and comfort in attending services there for as long as she was able.
Always looking out for others, Rochelle was a beacon of light and love, enduring with astounding grace and patience the various health challenges she faced in life.
May Rochelle be remembered for her service to and adoration for all animals and vulnerable beings on this earth.
Rochelle is survived by her sister Roesan Farmer and brother Richard Reed; nieces/nephews Rachel Crews, Jessica Nieves and Zachary Farmer; grandnieces/nephews Samantha Ortega, Chelsea Crews, Hailie Hughes, Carter McNiven-Farmer and Thaddeus Sullivan; also, many great-grandnieces/nephews, and numerous lifelong friends.
