Robert Brian Jackson passed away June 17, 2016 due to complications following a major surgery.
The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday July 15, 2016 at Saint Bernadette’s Catholic Church, in Burien, Washington. 1028 SW 128th Street, Seattle, WA 98146.
The church is located on the corner of Ambaum Boulevard SW and SW 128th Street. The parking lot is accessed off of SW 128th Street. Additional parking is available behind the church. It will be followed by a reception directly after the service given at the church.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, Vernon and Kathleen Jackson, and his brothers Timothy Jackson and Michael Jackson.
Bob is lovingly remembered by his sister, Sharon Scheider, and her family: Elizabeth Doolittle, Robert Scheider, Allison Miller, and James Scheider. He is loving remembered by his sister in law, Lynette Jackson her children: Michelle Jackson, Stephanie Sasser, Doug Jackson and adopted grandson, Steven Jackson. Also lovingly remembered by nephew Michael Jackson Jr. and many loving nieces and nephews and other relatives. His Aunt Phyllis has always been very special to Bob and a caring person checking on him during his illness.
Bob was born in Seattle, Washington in 1955. He trained to be a brick layer and then was hired at Boeing in 1978. He was currently a painter at the Everett Plant and worked every day for 38 years, very dedicated to his job.
Bob loved music, cars, computers, movies and chocolate chip cookies. He also had a wonderful sense of humor that he shared with the world. Even during Chemo and radiation with stage IV cancer, he was always brave, kind, friendly and telling jokes. Please remember him with a smile or a chuckle about a joke he once told.
