Robert M. Diehl was born here in Seattle on July 22, 1949 to Herbert and Clara Diehl. He was raised here and attended the University of Washington where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in History.
For over 35 years Robert worked as a metro bus driver. Although he loved driving bus, his real passion was softball having played in several leagues, the senior league being the latest.
Robert passed away on Saturday, November 24 after a brief battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sharon, and his three daughters, Karla, Jennifer and Karin. He is also survived by his brother Stephen Diehl.
A Memorial Service will be held at North Creek Presbyterian Church, 621- 164th St SE, Mill Creek, WA 98012 on December 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
