Richard (Rick) Brown, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023, after a 3- year battle with cancer that he fought with great faith and courage.
Rick was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1953 and moved out to the Pacific Northwest in 1977 where he met Pam Dennison. What started out as a chance meeting on the Edmonds to Kingston ferry began a joyful 44- year marriage filled with adventure and a variety of cats and dogs.
Rick worked at Nakanishi Dental Lab for 35 years. His co-workers remember him not only for his expertise in the field, but also for his sense of humor, wisdom and how he encouraged others.
Rick was a faithful leader in their church and influenced many by his kindness and compassion. He loved hiking and exploring the Olympic Peninsula with Pam on the back of their Harley Davidson.
Rick is survived by his wife; Cousin Bonnie Bruns; Nephew Christopher Brown (Christine), and their two precious kids, Emerson and Bennett.
