Ray Sexton, A Very Special Person - 
I met Ray 13 years ago when I married Bob. Bob told me that he met Linda Sexton when he was in 4H. He first saw 6 year old Ray when he met Linda’s family. 
When I met him, Ray lived in Seattle with his wife, Jenny, and their daughter, Austin. I liked all of them right away! They accepted me as family and made me feel right at home from the start! 
The Sexton family often came to visit us over the years and Ray was always ready to help out with anything we needed. He helped with maintenance on our house, once working with Bob to replace a fence post, one time getting up on the roof to blow off leaves, and another time helping us take down a deck that was no longer safe. Ray and Jenny had a cabin at Clear Lake and invited us up anytime they were staying there. We also got together with them at family gatherings!
Sometimes when Ray and Jenny would come down for a visit with us, Ray would bring his guitar and sheets of music. He would give us copies of the music and we would sing along with them. When we were with them we had such good times!
We are so sad that we cannot go to the memorial celebration. We do have lots of wonderful memories of times spent with him and do have Jenny, Austin, Ash, Michelle, and the younger ones to love and continue to spend time with. They are a special part of our family. -

Ray was a truly great friend. He was super fun to do things with, interesting to talk to and always respectful and kind to everyone around. I will miss him terribly.

Going to miss our fishing trips together. 

This year's harvest will not be the same without you.

Mom had a big poster of your mom and dad from their dance days; I always loved that. I loved coming to visit you guys as a kid, because I thought your dad was so funny, and super cool! I remember he loved gardening and I was always impressed by the veg growing in your backyard. We didn’t see you guys often, but I have great memories of Ray.

I still remember how Ray grieved for his son Adam when he lost him.  My heart goes out to all of us who lost this wonderful man.  Bob McIntire 

Ray was one of our cast at Musicomedy NW back in the early 80s. I was fortunate enough to be in Brigadoon and Ray played Harry Beaton. I always marveled at his physical athletic dancing. I’ve done that show several times since and Ray was always the best I’ve seen. I will always remember that glint in his eyes and his wry smile and his gentleness. Silainte’
