Ray was born in Glasgow, Montana on July 1st, 1937. He was a proud Abe of Lincoln High School, graduating in 1955 and Logger of University of Puget Sound, class of 1960. Ray had tremendous passion for all things sports. He loved both playing and coaching throughout his lifetime. He was an avid golfer and is a rare member of the “hole in one” club. Ray always rooted for the Huskies, Seahawks and Mariners, he is a true Hometown Fan. He was a partner for J Loucks and Assoc., and later he worked for Impact Sales before finally retiring after over 50 years in the food brokerage business. Ray was a dedicated employee who had a heartfelt way of developing relationships with so many.
His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. He truly cherished every moment he spent with his loved ones. Ray passed away peacefully at his home in Bothell on the evening of January 23rd, 2017 with his wife near his side.
Ray is a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grand Father. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nanci Peterson. His children; Jeff (Jennifer), Eric (Jenny), Susan (Adrian). Grandchildren; Cody, Amy, Tara, Heidi (Brian), Heather, Harper, Hudson, Sophia, Annalie. Great Grand Children; Kasey, Jace, Jaxon, Payton, Alivia. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Catherine, Sister Gloria, Brother Charles Jr, his Sons; Mark and Chuck.
A memorial will be held Saturday, February 25th, 2:00pm-5:00pm at the Bothell Senior Center, 10201 East Riverside Drive, Bothell 98011
