Born is Seattle September 5, 1919 and passed away in Bothell, WA on November 9, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband Dick Spencer in 1963, and her son-in-law James Veach. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Bonnie (Ted) Sturlaugson and Wendy (James) Veach, her grandkids Jessica Veach, Brian (Tina), Brad (Mary) Sturlaugson, and Tami (Danny) Scott. 7 great-grandkids Katie (Shaun), Lianne, Alex, Anika, Sara (Ruben), Jason, Kyle and 5 great-great grandkids Dodge, Dakota, Elliott, AJ, and Isabella.
Phyllis enjoyed her family/friends at Childrens Orthopedic Hospital, worked at Four Freedoms Retirement Home, and volunteered for several years at the Discovery Shop in the Roosevelt District. Special thanks to the staff at Evergreen Hospital and her dear friend Bonnie Hinz.
