Phillip Ross Fraser

Phil graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1958 and graduate from The University of Washington in 1962 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He went to Western Washington University to get his 2nd degree in music where he met his wife Barbara Demaree.

Phil & Barbara married October 7, 1967 and they were married for 55 Years! They had 3 sons: Paul, Eric & Chris.

He was Civil Engineer for The City of Seattle and Chief Civil Engineer for the City of Tukwila, retired in 1999. He also ran for city council.

Phil loved Mickey Mouse, Shakespeare, cats, music and his guitar. He volunteered many years by singing to the kids at Children Hospital as well as serving food to teens who did not have fathers.

In 2001 his son Eric married Jodee Woodworth. In 2008, he welcomed his first grandchild, Demaree Rae Fraser (named after Barbara’s maiden name). And then in 2010, he welcomed his second grandchild, Titan Ross Fraser (Ross is a multi-generation middle name)

Phil was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, friend, brother and human being. Oct 18, 2021 @ 11:13pm he said good bye at the age of 80 years old. His family misses him dearly.
