Phil was born in Seattle where he spent his early years before the family moved to Spokane where he graduated from Central Valley High School. Then, after graduating from Gonzaga University, Phil moved back to Seattle to work in public accounting at Arthur Anderson. He then moved into private business that took him traveling the world for 20 years.
Retirement gave him time to enjoy his family, bicycling, training black labs for field trials with friends, visiting Walla Walla, and tracking the weather!
Phil will be remembered as a humble man, known for his integrity and quick witted humor.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sally, and his daughters Jennifer and Christy.
At his request there will be no services.
Remembrances can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
