Paul Chiarello, 94 of Seattle, Washington went to be with his Lord on December 18, 2017 in Seattle, surrounded by his family. Born January 16, 1923 in Youngstown, Ohio he was the son of Frank and Cecilia Chiarello.
Paul was always athletic and played many sports but football was his passion. He lettered in that sport at Woodrow Wilson High School.
A WWII veteran, Paul served with distinction as a member of the 82nd Airborne and was awarded the Bronze Star.
He is survived by the love of his life and dance partner Gladys Johnson (Pingatore). They traveled the United States and Europe numerous times. Paul is also survived by his sisters Rose Modarelli, Virgina Chiarello, and brother Anthony Chiarello. In addition his children David Chiarello, Kathy Chiarell, Caroline Holmes (Terry Holmes), and Michael T. Pingatore. He has 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
He loved life, his family and many friends. He was truly a people person. He was an active member of the American Legion, Post 160, The White Center Salvation Army and the White Center Eagles.
Paul enjoyed long walks, dancing and his Gladys.
