Patricia (Pat) Ann Strohm passed away on Friday May 3rd, 2024 at the age of 86 in her retirement home in Shoreline, Washington. She was born on March 19th, 1938 in Seattle, Washington to Walter Rogers and Beatrice Powell. Pat grew up in the Lake City area of Seattle before spending 72 years at her home in Shoreline, Washington. Pat was married to Robert Strohm in 1955 until his untimely passing in 1967. Pat raised her two beautiful daughters Renee Strohm-Richards (Passed 2013) and Cheryl Strohm-Kondol in Shoreline as a single mother while dedicating her life to nursing and providing comfort and care to the elderly.
Pat was a caring, strong, and passionate woman who had a deep love for nature and animals. She could be found enjoying an evening on her patio reading with her dogs or feeding the birds, taking a stroll in the park, or watering her vegetable garden and petunias that she would plant on a yearly basis. She was an artistic and creative soul who pursued many hobbies including painting ceramics, making greeting cards, and even becoming certified in welding. She gave so much to those around her and spent much of her life volunteering or donating in her community - from spending her days helping with school events for her children and grandchildren, working at her local community center, providing food and clothing to the homeless, and donating to any animal shelter she could think of. Pat was someone who could spend hours sharing stories of her life with anyone and everyone. She had a keen sense of humor and a very spunky spirit, and even as she got older, was always truly young at heart.
Patricia leaves behind her daughter Cheryl Strohm-Kondol; her grandchildren Karen Richards-Daily, Bryan Richards, Cheryl Richards, Kevin Richards, Jeff Richards, Bob Richards, and Ciara Kondol; and her great-grandchildren Will Daily, Bianca Richards, Mikaela Richards, Livia Richards, Gracie Richards, and Alita Noone.
