Pascal Trung Hiếu Trần passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 61. He will be dearly missed, but his unequaled spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. Pascal was born in Saigon, Vietnam to the late Marie Thérèse Agnès Minh and Dominque Mạnh Hùng Trần on May 17, 1961. He lived in many places such as Saigon, Atlanta, GA, Southern California, and finally settled in Seattle, WA where he lived for over 20 years. He is survived by his three daughters, Teresa (Matthew Fillare), Christine, Elizabeth; four siblings, Joseph Tran, Mary-Rose (Bao) Hoang, John (Linh Pham) Tran, and Thomas (Jeannie Nguyen) Tran; his former wife and mother of his children, Mary Thanh Thảo Bridges; and many many dear friends he considered family, including his closest friend and confidante Susanna Tran.
After the end of the Vietnam war, Pascal was only 15 years old when he and his entire family escaped by boat, eventually arriving in Atlanta to rebuild a new community and home in a new country. As a Vietnamese-American refugee, Pascal overcame endless adversity throughout his life and leaves behind an impressive legacy of inspiring experiences and stories. Pascal graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 1983 receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He channeled his boundless drive and creativity into several successful careers in photography, entrepreneurship, and sales. Some of his notable accomplishments include 1994 AMI International Achievement Award for Photography, front page features in the Los Angeles Times and the Daily Pilot for his film "Vietnam: My People, My Homeland", and Seattle Times Best Eyewear 2006 for Fifth Avenue Optical.
Pascal had many passions including photography, music, ballroom dancing (especially Tango), fashion, and cooking. Pascal had a larger than life personality that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He lived an extraordinary and proud life filled with joy and beauty. He was a loving father who cherished his three “princesses”, Teresa, Christine, and Elizabeth. Pascal approached everything in his life, large or small, with fervent dedication and shared his excitement with others. He passes on his love for Disney to his daughters, his love for food and celebration to all the friends he made, and the reminder to live life unapologetically without harbored anger.
All who knew and loved Pascal are invited to attend the following events to commemorate his life:

Flowers can be sent to Butterworth Funeral Home.
